From a young age, I was taught to follow the status quo, do well in school, go to college and if you work hard enough you’ll get a good job”. Pshhh. I laugh at this now because my journey was so different. I got good grades, got into the University and obtained two degrees, in Educational Management and Planning
Even with my fancy degree I resorted to teaching advanced English and CRK whilst teaching Microsoft Packages on the side and though I enjoy imparting knowledge to young adults, my income was lacking and so was my fulfilment. I was meant for more.
During the pandemic after losing the majority of my students I decided I would build a course for my students. It failed miserably, I got 4 people to show up and I didn’t collect any money for it.
